Linguine
I love this dish and have ordered it many many times. Rack of lamb is my top pick, but I had that 2 weeks before!
Lobster Tail
It is done to perfection as usual. It is not "rubbery" like some other restaurants. The sauce was so good that I ended up using the bread to soak it up and ate it. There was no sauce left after I was done with it.
La Forêt
Just the right size before a full entree. Everything is just the right touch in terms of taste, texture, color, and in general presentation.
American Wagyu
I loved the veggies and the sauce was SOOOOO good, the steak melted in my mouth like meat butter. It was by far the best steak I have ever tasted
Venison
It's a shame no one else is speaking up about the New Zealand venison. This was the best I've ever had around the world. The reduction put it over the top served piping hot. If there was ever a Wagyu Venison this would be it !

What a fabulous brunch! The wines were exceptional, the food, as always, spectacular (La Foret elk always was my favorite) and the service was perfect (looking at you, Eva and Sami!). So thankful that you're opening again for brunch, even occasionally!
Rib-Eye
This dish is cooked to perfection (medium rare). Even the side carrots are great. I think the secrete is not only it is 30 day wet age, it is the sauce.
Venison
This is my first time ever trying venison, and wow, what an experience. Has the texture of a tender NY strip, yet it tastes nothing like beef. More exotic-like flavor, but it's that dark cherry sauce underneath that really elevates it. Would actually eat this over actual steak and would definitely order again.

The Bernardus wine pairing dinner hosted by La Foret was indeed very enjoyable. All of the wine was very good to excellent with ample pouring. The courses were well paired with the wine. Only the shrimp course was a bit subpar for La Foret. The cheese board must have had at least 12 different cheese to choose from. All of the sauces served with the meat courses were excellent. And the service was outstanding
Ahi Tuna
Extraordinary. My husband is really picky about ahi, and he said this is the best one he has ever had (we've eaten here often over many years and had it prepared several different ways, and every preparation has been top tier).
